Welcome to the Derrick McGary Agency in Wake Village, TX! Wake Village is a suburb of Texarkana, TX.

I started with State Farm Insurance in April 2015 and quickly grew to love the job. I realized that one day I wanted to run my own agency. In June 2017 my dream became a reality and my amazing team and I have been busy helping customers ever since.

I absolutely love what I do! I get to help people every day - from managing the risks of everyday life, to recovering from the unexpected, and realizing their dreams. I help our customers with all aspects of their financial lives. They say when you love what you do; you never work a day in your life. I can say without reservation that is absolutely true. Having been born and raised in Texarkana, I love being involved with our community. I attended Texas High School, Texarkana College, and Texas A&M University- Texarkana. I am a former Texarkana, Texas City Council member and currently serve on the Board of Texarkana College. Texarkana has so much to offer!
